Tempered Mirrors

AL RAWAA manufactures fully tempered mirrors by using tempered (toughened) float glass as the substrate which complies with ASTM C 1048-04 (Standard specification for heat treated glass)

Process surface imperfections such as scratches, rubs, blemishes which are found in all glazing quality tempered glass are acceptable if the imperfections are not detectable at a distance of 132 inches ( 3.3 meters) or greater per ASTM C1503-01.

Tempered mirrors are used in applications where safety is a concern, and would be a good alternative to laminated.

AL RAWAA has manufactured fully tempered mirrors with decorative designs (sandblasting) for prestigious projects such as the Dubai Metro Project.

Safety Vinyl Backed Mirrors

These mirrors are elective and are recommended in areas where safety would be of prime importance.
